Trying to keep up

After having two long weekends away in a row, trying to keep up with my red and white quilt is proving difficult. I am now two parts behind. It has been fun though, shopping and collecting new red and white fabrics. Below is part three of 12 days of Christmas. Being portable it is easier to keep up with this quilt.
I have also finished this months Craftsy blocks and I will photograph and show them next post.

Melbourne was great.  Walked my feet off again. But I did get to see a lot of shops, markets and I managed to get to Castlemaine and Bendigo. Many people took advantage of the great weather to go hot air ballooning.  They were floating over Melbourne every morning.

This is the best shop in Castlemaine! Haberdash- great vintage lace, doylies, antique buttons and bits and bobs.Spent so long there I thought I was going to miss my bus! And the lovely Sonia was the most wonderful person.
